Joe's Video Game Poem

There I sat with my video game,

Many people said I was lame.

I did it all day,

‘Cause I loved to play.

I wasn’t very active,

But I am still attractive.

I lived for the game.

Give it a try, you’ll feel the same.

I got lost for hours,

Forgot about homework, chores and showers.

Then my dad said, “You’re Grounded!”

OH how I hated how that sounded.

I did my homework, took my showers,

And even watered the flowers.

Now I’m allowed to play

At least that is what mom and dad say.

So, if you’re looking for me.

You know where I’ll be,

In front of my PS2

‘Cause there’s nothing else to do.
